Senior Social Media Analyst


We are now looking for a Senior Analyst to come and join our industry leading agency team and continue to help our clients discover ‘What’s Next…’ The successful candidate will have a critical blend of technical and business skills required to cover a range of social media analytics engagements with our clients. As a Social Media Analyst you play an important role in ensuring data driven decision making is at the heart of every project DigitasLBi delivers. With a deep understanding of data techniques and analytics concepts you will help derive insights from data and meld the story to positively impact account performance and client strategy.


We believe that you are an analytics subject matter expert with great business awareness and you will add measurable value to our clients through actionable analytical insights. You ensure the solutions we develop for our clients are measurable by advising on data and measurement strategies that translate business and marketing objectives into KPIs and measurement frameworks. You will provide technical expertise to our clients ensuring they have the most appropriate tool in place, implemented and configured correctly. We believe you will be center of excellence for our clients.


As a Social Media Analyst at DigitasLBi you are given a unique opportunity to champion the benefits of analytics internally within DigitasLBi, and externally amongst our existing and potential clients. And furthermore bring thought leadership to the team and lead client engagements from a strategic and technical perspective.


Must have

  • Relevant education ideally in a numerate subject (i.e.   IT/Statistics/Computing/Marketing/Public Relations)
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple Social Media Analytics tools and other, like Netbase, Crimson Hexagon, Unmetric, Falcon, Tableau, Klipfolio, Google Ananlytics etc. Custom solution design and implementation aligned to measurement plans
  • Experience of data visualization and reporting of insights: social media and Google Analytic
  • Experience in paid Social Media
  • Experience in working with Social listening projects and be able to turn consumer behavior data into strategies
  • A minimum of 3-6 years’ social media analytics experience gained in an agency (preferred) or client side environment
  • Experience working with local and multinational companies
  • Google Analytics Certified or a couple of years experience from analyzing data from Google Analytics.  
  • Proven data interpretation skills and analysis
  • Business understanding and client management experience
  • Advanced Excel, strong Word and PowerPoint
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills (English and Swedish)


Nice to Have

  • Experienced in implementing and using Google Analytics and/or Adobe Sitecatalyst
  • Advanced understanding of Javascript, HTML, SQL or Python and previous experience in coding in these languages
  • Experience of data mining and APIs
  • Experience in creation of dashboards (Tableau, Klipfolio, etc)
