    DigitasLBi Milan is on the hunt for an amazing senior copywriter to join our creative team.


     Who are we looking for?


    You are a copywriting powerhouse: you live for your craft, and believe well-chosen words can change the world (or at least the project).


    As a senior copywriter, you’ll be expected to display a higher level of craft and expertise, having earned your stripes writing for a wide range of different brands and sectors. You’ll need to be just as comfortable writing everything from long editorial to pacey headlines to thought-provoking ideas in 140 characters.


    With at least 5 years of professional writing experience, you’re as enthused as ever about the power of words, and take pride and joy in crafting them. Your writing will display a deep understanding of the right tone, rhythm and choice of word, and you won’t rest until you’ve satisfied your own high standards. You find the interesting angle in every brief, and always try to come up with something out of the ordinary.


    You can work in any shaped team; on smaller briefs you’re a lone-ranger, on bigger projects you blend brilliantly - be it coming up with the main concept or tone of voice, or mentoring our junior talent.


    While receiving oversight will still be a regular feature of your working week, you’ll be expected to demonstrate a greater capacity to run your own ship, managing your time to make sure all copy is supplied to a high standard, and on time.

    • Be confident writing all types of copy: websites (everything from attention-grabbing headlines to longer editorial-style pieces), apps, campaigns, banners, social media, film scripts, brand manifestos, and anything else we can get our hands on
    • Create, maintain and act as guardian for tone of voice
    • Expertly flex your writing style according to the client and task at hand
    • Uphold the creative idea and demonstrate how it’s alive in your work
    • Collaborate with colleagues from varied disciplines (e.g. design, UX, content strategy, …)
    • Strike a balance between standing up for your ideas and accepting feedback to make revisions
    • When required, manage junior writers, either on a project or an ongoing basis, helping them to develop their own skills


    Skills & Experience


    • Proven experience as a copywriter, with the ability to produce a high standard of work across a variety of brands, sectors and content-types (preferably in a digital agency)
    • A compelling portfolio
    • Experience of not just making things sound great, but researching a topic, coming up with ideas for content, finding the best way to present it to our audience, etc).
