As a Data & Analytics Lead, you’ll manage ongoing client engagements, working to consistently exceed client expectations and strengthen the relationship with actionable, value-added services. Right now, we’re looking for a candidate who has a strong Marketing Analytics background, business acumen and team management skills to lead a growing Data & Analytics capability at DigitasLBi HK.



We have two elements to this role: a. Providing best in class Data & Analytics capabilities and b. building the Analytics proposition for DigitasLBi HK, whilst growing a regional support network.


The first part of this role is therefore to be responsible for driving complex Analytics data analysis and insight across multiple client engagements, through:


  • Partnering with clients, collect requirements, define strategy and deliver robust analytics solutions
  • Leading client engagements and internal teams from a strategic and technical perspective
  • Managing pitches and proposal writing
  • Discovering new paths for growth by uncovering new segments, products, and channels via applied data analysis
  • Optimising media budgets and programmes by applying exploratory analysis, testing and advanced modeling to maximise client returns on marketing investment
  • Leveraging statistical models and tools to lay the strategy foundation for companies evolving their data-driven marketing capabilities
  • Collaborating with creative, marketing and technology capabilities to build a robust, data-driven media marketing strategy for each client
  • Designing & delivering interactive data visualisation using modern methods & systems


Part two of the role is to drive the DigitasLBi Data proposition through:


  • Convincing clients of the value of strategic services to their business, helping them define needs and potential solutions
  • Identifying new opportunities and establishing relationships with prospective clients, playing an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches
  • Developing smart frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, developing and using a regional team of Data Scientists
  • Finding innovative ways to leverage existing DigitasLBi intellectual capital, and developing fresh and relevant concepts
  • Supporting, coaching, mentoring and training a talented staff off-shore
  • Fostering a team environment and playing an active role in hiring new team members.


Core Skills:


Our Data & Analytics Lead, must have hands on knowledge of the Analytics landscape, as well as experience leading complex data engagements, to help DLBi drive the outstanding strategic work we’re looking to deliver for our clients. We’re looking for someone who can show:


  • Prior Agency experience
  • Conceptualising and communicating strategic solutions to drive client business
  • Extensive hands-on experience in one, or several, of the Marketing Clouds (Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce etc)
  • Knowledge of enterprise Analytics, CRO and Personalisation platforms and programmes
  • Lead the integration of disparate, user-level data sets into a unified view of consumer behaviour, and leverage this data for the development of models and media planning applications
  • Applying various quantitative methods, including regression, multivariate and graphical methods to analyse and interpret information from complex data sources
  • A high level of functional expertise in a broad array of digital marketing subjects, including integrated channel marketing, alongside analytical tools & techniques
  • Understanding in building, and generating insight from, integrated dashboards in data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Level of competence in Python or R, and other statistical analysis languages and tools preferred


  • Masters degree in a quantitative field (marketing, statistics, or economics focus)
  • 5+ years of meaningful experience in marketing consulting, advertising, or interactive
  • Prior Agency experience is essential
  • Deep familiarity with the Analytics environment and expertise in aligning marketing strategies with business needs
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategic projects across internal teams and client relationships
  • Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills
  • Willingness to travel if needed - you're open to new places, new faces and new ideas
